Panama City Beach Fishing

Panama City Charter Fishing Boat

Welcome anglers to Bless-ed Moon Fishing Charters!

You want 'em, we catch 'em!

Panama City is known throughout the United States for its clear, emerald-green waters, pure white beaches and excellent fishing! While most people think of charter fishing in Panama City to be offshore, there is another dimension of sport fishing here that is "almost" a well-kept secret: inshore fishing, in the calm waters of beautiful St. Andrew Bay!

St Andrew Bay

While an offshore trip is usually enjoyable and productive, there are a few aspects to consider when looking for a fishing trip, and making a decision based upon the needs of your family or friends:

Cost - offshore charters tend to be expensive and most captains no longer offer "split" trips.
Fishing time - offshore trips require a lot of travel time. You may fish only 3-4 hours on an 8-hour trip.
Rough water - many people have difficulty with seasickness on offshore trips, and rough water can be tougher fishing for children or the elderly.
Hassle - because of the longer trip to get offshore, more food/water is required to be carried.

"Head" boats ("party boats") are less expensive per person because there are so many people, but they don't allow coolers (food and drinks), don't go far offshore and much time is spent untangling lines. Actual fishing time is frequently less than half the total trip time.

An inshore fishing trip is easier, less expensive and FUN! And you may catch some of the same saltwater species that can be caught offshore, plus some species generally not caught offshore.

Because an inshore fishing trip is so enjoyable, easy and inexpensive, many anglers who visit Panama City to fish offshore also book additional trips to fish inshore! You don't have to decide between offshore and inshore, you can do BOTH!
